Ruling out answers
Strike out what you know is wrong.
Every answer has a small circle with a line through it on its right-hand side. Press it and that option is struck out.
Use it the way you would on paper: eliminate what you know is wrong, then choose between what's left. Deciding between two options is far easier than deciding between five.
- A struck-out option can't be selected — crossing something out and then picking it would make no sense
- Press the control again to bring it back
- What you strike out is kept for the session, so leaving the question and returning doesn't lose your thinking
Eliminating an option never counts as answering, and never costs you anything. It works in both Study Mode and Exam Mode.
