How many questions are free

Every section open, with a set number free in each.

Alongside the 3-day trial there's a second, separate allowance: how many questions you can answer in each section for free. By default that's 20 per section.

What that looks like

  • Open any section and you can answer the first 20 questions, with their full explanations
  • The rest appear in the question strip with a padlock, so you can see how much is there rather than guessing
  • When you reach the limit you're offered a subscription

Why it works this way

So you can try the real bank — the actual questions, in the sections you care about — before paying for it. Twenty questions you chose yourself tell you far more than a sample we chose for you.

Two things worth knowing

  • Questions you've already answered never lock. Your history stays readable, including your results and reviews, whatever happens to your trial
  • The number can differ by section. 20 is the default; a particular source or topic may be set higher or lower

After subscribing

Every padlock disappears. There's no per-section limit on a paid account.
