Frequently asked questions

Trials, billing, cancelling, and what Molim does and does not promise.

Getting started

Who is Molim for? General practitioners preparing for a Gulf licensing exam. The bank is built for the general-practice licensing papers — SMLE, DHA, DHP/QCHP, MOH, OMSB, DOH/HAAD, KMLE and NHRA — and not for specialty board exams. If you are sitting a specialty board, this is not the right bank for you.

Do I need a card to try Molim? No. Signing up gives you a free trial with nothing to enter and nothing charged.

How long is the free trial? Three days from the moment you sign up.

Which exam should I choose? Whichever you're sitting. The question bank is the same for all eight boards — they test the same clinical medicine. Your choice only changes how the app names your exam.

I picked the wrong exam. Can I change it? Email admin@molim.co and we'll change it for you.

Can two of us share one account? No. An account is for one person. Sharing one is a breach of the Terms of Service.

Billing

Does my subscription renew on its own? Yes. It renews automatically until you cancel it.

Will I be warned before I'm charged? Yes. Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, emails you seven days before each renewal.

How do I stop it renewing? Open Subscribe from the sidebar and press Manage subscription, then cancel. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for — cancelling doesn't cut you off that day.

Do you give refunds? No. The free trial is there so you can decide before you pay, and every section of the bank is open during it.

I forgot to cancel and was charged again. Can I have that back? No. Cancelling is yours to do, and there are two warnings before it happens: the renewal date on your billing page, and the email seven days ahead. If you don't want to renew, cancel the subscription — stopping the card alone can leave a failed payment on your account instead of a clean cancellation.

Who takes the payment? Lemon Squeezy, as merchant of record. Molim never sees or stores your card number, and your invoices come from them.

The questions

Where do the questions come from? Public recall collections and open sources for the Gulf exams. Molim organises, classifies and explains them — see Intellectual property.

Are they the real exam questions? No. They are the recalls and practice material that circulate publicly, arranged and explained. Nobody can give you the real paper.

Will Molim get me a pass? No, and anyone promising that is lying to you. It's a study tool. What it gives you is a large organised bank, a record of what you keep getting wrong, and an explanation for each answer.

I found a wrong answer. Press Report on the question and tell us. Please do — a wrong answer left in the bank teaches the wrong thing to everyone who meets it.

Your account

What happens to my work if I stop subscribing? Nothing is deleted. Your history, notes, favorites and highlights stay, you go back to the free allowance, and everything you already answered stays readable.

Can I delete my account? Yes. Email admin@molim.co. You can also clear your own data at any time from Settings — see Resetting your progress.
