Resetting your progress

Start the bank fresh — and what you lose by doing it.

At the bottom of Settings is a section for clearing your own data. Each action is separate, and each one is permanent.

  • Reset Question Progress — forgets every answer you've given. Every question becomes unused again
  • Reset Notes — deletes all your notes
  • Reset Favorites — empties your favorites and folders
  • Reset Everything — all of the above

There is no undo, and we can't restore it for you.

Resetting progress is a real revision strategy — a second full pass through the bank with a clean slate works. But it also deletes the record of what you got wrong, which is the single most valuable thing your account holds. Your Incorrect filter goes empty, and the list of your own weak spots is gone.

You probably don't need it

If you only want fresh questions to practise, set the question filter to Unused Questions on Create Test. That gives you everything you've never seen without destroying the history of everything you have.

If you want to redo a section you've finished, create a test from it on All instead.
